JModelica is an extensible Modelica-based open-source platform for optimization, simulation, and analysis of complex dynamic systems. The main objective of the project is to create an industrially viable open-source platform for simulation and optimization of Modelica models while offering a flexible platform serving as a virtual lab for algorithm development and research.

JModelica.org is a result of research at the Department of Automatic Control, Lund University, and is now maintained and developed by Modelon AB in collaboration with academia. JModelica.org is distributed under the GPL v.3 license approved by the Open Source Initiative. The JModelica.org FMI import interface is written in Python and offers a complete mapping of the FMI C API. JModelica.org also offers a set of Pythonic convenience methods for interacting with the model in an object-oriented manner. The JModelica project rests upon three pillars, namely a language extension of Modelica for optimization entitled Optimica, software tools, and applications. In this paper, these three topics will

The free JModelica.org tool includes a Python package for converting Modelica models to FMUs, and then for importing the FMU as a Python object. This way, Modelica models can essentially be simulated from Python — Optimica is also supported. It is possible to do more advanced analysis with JModelica.org3 via CasADi, see e.g JModelica.org and related information | Frankensaurus.com helping you find ideas, people, places and things to other similar topics. fix URIs pointing to obsolete jmodelica.org . don't generate trailing spaces if possible 2021-04-13: 15:59 JModelica Docker container is build on an Ubuntu distribution version 16.04.6 LTS (Xenial Xerus). It contains `JModelica`_ and the neccessary Python modules: PyModelica - for compiling Modelica models intu FMUs; PyFMI - for loading and interacting with the FMU representing the building emulator System using JModelica . Parameter estimation is an important issue in many fields of industrial engineering [1], since it allows for efficient adaptation of system models.
